At Home in Nebraska

U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel frequently traveled back to Nebraska from Washington, D.C. His visits usually coincided with Senate recesses or with holidays such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Veterans Day. He visited schools, health care facilities, parades, campaign events, disaster areas, churches, reservations, veterans groups, and universities - anywhere he could meet with the constituents. His travels took him all over the state of Nebraska.

This exhibit presents images and schedules documenting some of Senator Hagel's travels during his two terms representing Nebraska, from January 1997 to December 2008.

These documents are a sample of the items in the U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel Archives. Discover this material by searching our Archives & Special Collections database and visiting us in Criss Library.
