Lee Greenwood Concert

The Lee Greenwood Concert held on the University of Nebraska-Kearney's campus on September 30, 1995 was one of the first major events that the Hagel Campaign developed. This event brought people together to hear Hagel's message and enabled him to garner support for his first run at U.S. Senate in 1996.

The event included a barbeque party, the concert, and a meet-and-greet after the show. Lee Greenwood signed autographs for fans throughout the day and worked along side Hagel in creating support for the campaign for Senate. Hagel's family was in attendance as well, wearing Hagel campaign buttons and assisting with the event.
