Many towns in Nebraska have special parades and events that celebrate a unique aspect of their community. Chuck Hagel and his campaign staff got involved in many of these events in order to connect with the different places and people that make up the state of Nebraska. From walking in parades to dishing out ice cream, even serving up chili on a cold Husker Football Game Day, Hagel actively connected with the people of Nebraska during his campaigns.
